This is a great snapshot of airplane mechanics working in and around the propeller of a small plane. I don’t know much about planes, so I will date this one to the 1960s and leave it at that. :-)
UPDATE: Iggy and “the old guys” identified this as a Taylorcraft BC model, which likely predates the 1950s. Great work guys!

The radiators of airplanes are much like automobiles as identification means. The unspatted wheels might date this plane pre-1950s…
I think this is a circa 1946 Taylorcraft BC12D but would have to check with some old farts my dad hangs out with to be certain.

This is definitely a Taylorcraft airplane. The old guys say it is a BC model of some sort.

It’s hard to say for sure – the model didn’t change much over the years – but I think this photo pre-dates 1950. Most of the BC and BD models were built just before and just after WWII.
With only the radiator and the spatless wheels to go by… I can’t be more specific.
