Who Were They? 
I AM A DIRECT DESCENDENT OF JOHN SHRIMPLIN WHO CAME FROM ENGLAND TO AMERICA IN 1749, HIS SON JOHN SHRIMPLIN IS THE FATHER OF ABSALOM——-MY 3rd GRANDFATHER WAS WILLIAM, SON OF THE ENGLISH JOHN, WHOSE SON, JOHN AND ELIZA GREEN (BROOKE COUNTY CO. WVA) AND THEIR SON,JOHN WESLEY SHRIMPLIN WAS MY G.GRANDFATHER, MY GRANDFATHER WAS MARION OLIVER SHRIMPLIN, MY DAD WAS GEORGE MARION SHRIMPLIN—-I AND MY BROTHER LEO ALBERT SHRIMPLN ARE THE SURVIVING MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY. I AM 93 YEARS OLD, MY WIFE EDITH (‘EDIE’, NOW DECEASED) HAVE 3 CHILDREN, 6 ( WE HAVE A GREAT HISTORY GOING BACK TO FRANCE WHERE WE HAD ANOTHER SURNAME (AT LEAST 13 WAYS TO SPELL OUR NAME IN ENGLAND)
