June is the month of graduations and weddings. Here we have a photo from the 1950s or 60s, showing a man in his graduation cap and gown, and a young girl. The photo is unidentified.
This naval commander was W. E. Johnston. I do not know what a CIC Officer is. Vintage 1955 is my guess. The photo is mounted on hard cardboard and the label with the name was placed directly onto the front of the photo. Any other identifying information on the back of the photo is lost.
Drum major (although I think maybe this is someone showing off their Black Watch or similar style uniform). The full band marching – those are trucks in the background. A saxophone player… or two. Present the colors. Close it out with military equipment and trucks on display. Hope you enjoyed it!
