Lost and forgotten photos from the past

From the 1920s or thereabouts, this photo is of a distinguished gentleman. He is wearing some kind of lapel pin that looks like a crescent moon over something round. Perhaps some kind of men’s order such as the Elks or Masons. I really don’t know much about fraternal orders, but if you can identify this, please comment! The photographer was “Wade – the world’s greatest baby photographer” out of Youngstown, OH. This photo was part of the haul that included Donna Ansbach.
