Who Were They?

A handsome view of the yard covered in snow – a cow stands in the pen, hay is stacked and covered with a dusting of snow, but more revealing of the card’s purpose are the two fellows on the front porch. They appear to be reaching out to shake hands. The scene is titled “Old Friends” and the card reads Seasons Greetings.

The inside reveals it was used for business customers and partners. This suggests to me that the front image was designed to evoke the warm feeling of friendship, but not too much further. It reads:

to our cherished new friends and

to those whose friendship
