Who Were They?

This might be a Christmas dinner or luncheon, I can just see something like swags of popcorn or garland in the background. 12 women are seated around a table, most facing the camera but some just barely visible. You can see a fancy chafing dish on the right sideboard, a large candle (?) on the table, a crystal chandelier and various other appointments around the room. All the women look nicely dressed. I’d venture a guess this is an early 20th century image based on the clothing.
