Today we have three “wallet” sized photos that I believe are all from Bavaria or Germany. The first image “Lusen” is a mountain in the Bavarian forest that straddles the border between Germany and Czech Republic. The photo itself is a tiny postcard with spaces on the back for writing and a stamp box.
The second two images are numbers 15 and 16 in a professional series. 15 shows an amazing church. I have searched for Bavarian churches, Austrian churches, German churches…they are all impressive but none I found have this distinctive hexagonal spire. I suppose it is possible the church was destroyed during WWII. If you are up to the challenge and can figure this one out, I am open to any updates! #16 shows a courtyard…somewhere.
An unusual church indeed – but no luck here…
