Hi folks – you may notice some changes happening on the site, including our own domain name! Yay! Update your bookmarks to show whowerethey.photos since this is now the registered domain for the blog. I have long wanted a proper domain name and the .com version is available for a whopping 2k, but since I don’t have that kind of money laying around (and seriously, two thousand dollars?!), I have taken advantage of the slew of new domains out there, PLUS .photos works so perfectly!
Also, I’m hoping to update the look of the site simply because it’s time. It’s looking a bit old. The challenge is finding a look that is modern and up to date that will properly showcase 100+ year old photos. Such a challenge. As I play with things you may see changes come and go, but don’t worry all the site content will remain. If something is broken, don’t hesitate to drop me a note so I can look into it.
