This is an undated snapshot of three men in front of some type of large vehicle in the barn. I assume from the note penned on the back that it is the fire station somewhere….any input from readers is greatly appreciated!

Who Were They? 
An uneducated guess – just based on observations… The “guy” on the right is out of place somehow. His shoes and clothing aren’t matching up with the other two. The writing does mention “fire chief”, I can’t make out enough of the truck to say it is a fire truck. But the tread pattern on the tires beg for a construction application?

We both think a Military Fire Hall. Every base had their own Fire Hall. The word “transferred” may indicate military life. They look to be wearing military belts..They may be in off duty clothing:)
