Lost and forgotten photos from the past

This is a large photograph mounted on black card stock. It shoes a variety of people, presumably a family, posed in front of a farm house. The women’s skirts are late 1890s/early 1900s. I used to live down the street from a house that looks very similar to this one, which makes me wonder. I did buy this photo at an antique shop in the same town, who knows?

    This is an interesting picture – I love the weedy lawn and the open (missing) window sashes and the weird downspouts running along the side of the house. The only person that looks well fed is probably the “main cook”!!

  2. I just put up a similar photo, I always love ones with the old Homes. Now go and take a look at the old place you said it reminds you of and let us know! Or snap a photo to compare for fun! :)
