Who Were They?

Lost and forgotten photos from the past

This is the third of four AZO postcards from the Benedicta Trunk album. This backdrop looks the same as the one of the lady with the flowers. It appears they used this venue as their photography studio and got postcards as prints. I wonder if their cost was better than standard prints that were available during that period, 1904-1918. These kids are really cute. I love the big bow in the girl’s hair.

    Aww.. they sure are cute.

I like the waif-look the little man on the right has going…

He reminds me of someone… from way back in elementary school… a Patrick Kelly… (how’s that for Irish?)

  2. They are cute! I like the bow also! Two boys and a girl..the chair covering is a bit strange.
A Real Photo Postcard could be purchased for a penny a piece..I am not sure how that compares to standard prints from that same time period. I had a reader ask if I knew what a Cabinet Card cost back in the day..do you have any idea?:)

I wonder if the chair covering for the baby is becuse what ever is under it isn’t that great to look at but just does the trick for holding kids in one place.
