Wow. Very interesting. She must have married into the Rudd family, and it is even possible that she was one of the Rudd’s who stayed behind when the “Arizona Pioneer Rudds” made their ox-cart trek across country to their new homestead in Arizona Territory. Obviously, someone loved and valued her, to save her memory for a hundred years. It really makes me and my cousins feel more intrigued about tracking down our family’s genealogy and heritage!
Gotta love the expression – and the eyebrows!
