This week’s Sepia Saturday prompt is a baby in the pram, and since I can hardly resist cute babies, I have a plethora of options for this post!
“Robert Teel Bowens age 5 mo”
This one features a little girl and her doll in the buggy.
This one is an AZO Real Photo postcard with the arrows pointing upward so can be dated between 1904-1918. The note on the back says “This is Mrs. Stancoffs baby’s picture she is sending you. She is going to Ark. Wed. to stay a month while they plaster their other 3 rooms. She has a girl all the time.”
This one says “Edna and Bennie in Edna baby dress and her baby doll, June 1918.”

Who Were They? 
Robert Teel Bowens, born 23 Apr 1916 in Jackson county, Iowa, was the son of Robt Andrew Bowen and Dovie M Teel. He died in Orange county, California on 27 Mar 1994. He moved to California before 1940.

What a wide variety of pram photos you have. Some of the prams look as though they were very heavy (with or without a passenger) – the Mums must have had quite a workout going uphill :-) Jo

“She has a girl all the time.” LOL … must be why her husband keeps wanting another baby, trying for a boy. These are wonderful postcards, and I really like the last one with the two little girls. Great post!
