This beautiful wedding photograph is of Anastesia Czech, who may have married her cousin, or may have been first cousin to the original owner of the photo. Her husband was Paul P. Kroll and they married in 1917 when she was 19 years old. They had 7 children, all of whom have passed away. However, they do have living grandchildren, and I’m trying to contact them. Let’s hope that one of their grand kids would like to have the photo!

UPDATE: This photograph is the grandparents to a distant cousin of poster Paula Bieniek, who will get in touch with the family for me. I’m so excited to possibly reunite this photograph with the rightful family!

Oh I love wedding photos..and you know the year..someone is going to love to have this old photo!! Isn’t her veil amazing..I love the headdress..and her gown must be satin or silk with the skirt having a lace overlay. What a wonderful find! :)

Oh my I just noticed the photographer..he was from Little Falls, Minnesota. Frank A Nelson was in Little Falls from 1898 to 1914 according to the Minnesota Historical Society…but sometimes their dates are sketchy..I keep emailing them with proof of photos taken in years that they don’t have listed:)

Stunning image. And interesting to see the bride and groom seated. Don’t know that I’ve ever seen one before.

What a beautiful photo . I have had distant cousins contact me on my family blog because of having the name in title. Hopefully the same will happen to you.

Yes, that is where I found the bit of info I do have. Unfortunately, the owner of the tree hasn’t written me back yet, but I’m hopeful! I would LOVE for a photo of my grandparents wedding to pop up unexpectedly!

This is a beautiful photograph. I think they look like cousins — their mouths look so similar. Her veil is lovely, and her necklace looks like some I’ve seen in recent years. Very modern. I hope you find their grandchildren. It would be exciting to have a photograph like this suddenly fall into my hands.
